Do any of you know of a school that takes on unqualified volunteer teaching assistants?
I'm planning on taking the CELTA this coming January and will then fly off to Latin America where I'll spend 9 months teaching. I would like some sort of experience before I leave, or at least some insight into what actually goes on inside the TEFL classroom.
I've contacted a few schools but no such luck so far. Are there any current English teachers in London that wouldn't mind my voluntary assistant in the classroom? Or alternatively, do you know of a school that would allow this?
I'm willing to help out in anyway I can.
Thanks
