HI all.
I'm wondering if anyone in here is a regular at Check Inn 99 bar between Suk soi 5 & 7 ?
I was living in Bangkok and used to go there quite often, its a great place for single women to go for a night out, no hassles, nice music etc.

Anyway! I didn't get a chance to go back in and get the staff's email and numbers before I left bangkok. The girls in there are a lot of fun, I had many a drunken night out going clubbing with them after the bar shut.
The manager is good value too, he always looks after my girlfriends and I.

If anyone goes in there or is going in there, could you pass on my email address to the manager ( a chinese/thai older gentleman)

Cheers Alexandra

I had a couple of good nights in there in July when I was in Bangkok.

They had an all-girl band playing some great 60s Tamla Motown covers.

Yeh they are so great, they have a 5 year contract there I think and the keyboard player is related as well, all family.
I was introduced to the bar on New Years eve, after the bombings started, by some danish people. It ended up being my favorite place to hang out, being single and female.. its safe . I just had to leave in a bit of a rush, then lost my phone with a lot of numbers.
It looks nothing from the outside, but do go in, its like something out of Casablanca.. older dedor. think its been the same for 20 years haha.
Cute dance floor and dinner.. its like an old fashioned supper club. very cute.
