I was wondering what sort of feedback people had about the different CELTA schools in Poland? Which one gives the most for the money? Connections afterward? Etc...

I've been looking at the IH CELTA program and have read some mixed feedback. Also, I can't seem to find their rate for the CELTA on their website.

I did mine in Krakow in June. I can't praise them too highly. It was efficient, well organised, fun and I really got a tremendous amount out of it. The resources are brilliant and the staff were great from the canteen to the trainers.

It is hard, hard work though so if you want to see the sights (and there are plenty) get there a week or two early.

What school did you go through in Krakow? IH? Are you currently working in Krakow?

I've been to Krakow before so the sights have been seen, and yes, they are plenty!

It was IH and it cost around � 850 with accomodation. I'm in Zielona Gora, a long way from Krakow.

I know the head CELTA trainer at ELS-Bell in Warsaw and she is wonderful. I also know several people who have been trained by her and they all have nothing but praise for her and the course.

Unfortunately the price without accommodation is higher than the price with accommodation at any other CELTA centre in Poland. And accommodation in Warsaw costs more than in any other city in Poland.

I did my CELTA at Bell in Warsaw this summer. The school and staff are great. I rented a flat through the school for 1000zl during the course-it was worth it. I think their tuition rates are on their website but if I remember correctly I paid 4990 zl.
