Where is the best place in Taipei to get organic food? I'm looking for a place that doesn't rip you off with over priced trinkets that cost 2-3 times the price you'd pay in the states.

Is there anyone out there that knows how to get high quality organic food in Taipei or Taoyuan areas?

whats your personal favority organic food store anywhere in Taiwan.

My boyfriend and I live near Taoyuan and Taipei as well....we're having the same problem...

We miss the nice, colorful, organic produce we were able to get easily in the states. At this point, we would pay "rip-off" price for some of them! The best we've found so far is at Jason's...we went to the one in Taipei 101, but I'm not sure if there is a closer one.

Are you a raw foodist? How's that going in Taiwan? We were raw for a month before coming here....now we're struggling just to be healthy vegans.

Good luck....it seems as though we'll all need it Smile

There are quite a lot of organic food stores in Taiwan now and they are quite popular. I suggest asking around your neighborhood. The selection and prices might vary, but if you can find a good store then you will be able to get everything you need.

That's great to hear! Any specific suggestions? If you know of some, I'd love to see if they have any stores around here.

It's difficult to ask around our area as we don't speak Chinese and all the English speaking people we know either live in the city or eat out all the time.

Here are the Chinese characters and pinyin for "organic food store".
