Hi

I am a newbie to this website and I would like a few questions answered. I plan to go to Hong Kong next year (loads of stuff to clear up at this end) I have just recently qualified TESOL, have a bachelors degree in HR, and am currently working as a Project Manager and Lecturer in Further Education in Scotland.

I have read some of the postings in the Hong Kong Forum and they have raised more questions than answers

1. What is the NET system and there seems to be some scoring you have to go through - how do I go about that?
2. Is 40 too old to be coming halfway across the world for a change of lifestyle? Will my age limit my job opportunities?
3. When is the best time to search/apply for starting in October 2008
4. What is the likely monthly incomings and outgoings for a new start?
5. Is the working visa easy to obtain?

Please be as frank as you like in the reply but also kind if that is possible Razz
