Hi. Writing from Fukuoka.
I own an English conversation school that did well for about 7 or 8 years before it began to whither (despite great efforts to stop the slide). Although we're just barely making it, it is still a viable business, but I have hardly any day classes at all.

I have also began attending Temple University to get a Master's in TESOL, which is by no means cheap.

Despite much searching, I have found it extremely difficult to get any day work (preschools, elementary schools, jr./sr. high schools, jr. colleges, universities, vocational, corporate- you name it) at all.

Any hints, tips, suggestions? Any at all would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Blue Tamale

Have you tried to open your own preschool? My school did that a few years ago and it is doing quite well. They had the money though so they made this cute little room with lots of supplies... They also got a really good teacher...
