Hello.

I was offered a job by Valens too. Orginally I was going to accept their offer, but the company seems very flaky. They don't have a proper phone number to contact them by and they act very unprofessional (i.e. they don't respond to emails and answer your questions. If they do get around to answering your questions it takes days or even weeks to respond).
I lost my trust for Valens. I don't feel comfortable leaving my home to travel overseas to work for this company.
If you are having better luck with Valens let me know, but personally I would advice people to be careful before accepting a job with Valens.

Yes, my orginal instincts about Valens were indeed correct...

If you are still looking for work in Slovakia, I suggest that you avoid working for Valens at all cost. They are very unprofessional and take advantage. They promise you a bunch of stuff like internet, health insurance, covering the cost of visa and some other B.S., but in the end all you get is bunch of broken promises and have to pay an expensive plane ticket back home. Unless you enjoy being taken advantage of, this is a Slovak company you should avoid.

Has anyone else had experience with Valens?

Let me know if they actually pay their employees.
