It would be great if some people can post good addresses for cheap acommodation in district one area where I believe most teachers reside its rather urgent to find some cheap about $US200 (or less per month with shower tv etc) THanks

From the backpacker area in district 1 many places in districts 3,4,5, and 10 can be reached within 15 minutes by motorbike. Travelling to the outer districts will take longer.

Perhaps you can tell where your staying and the price of room per month and if it has wifi too??

I along with quite a few people I know live in District 4, just across the bridge from District 1. I live in a 2 bedroom flat which costs $500 a month so split in half 4 million dong each. Wifi internet costs us a little more than $20 a month total but depends on the company you use. We use FPT. $250 a month I'd say is a standard rate for a shared flat, a shared house is usually $200 a month each or less. If you want to live on your own I'd expect to pay $300 a month and up.
