| I understand that people must leave CR for 72 hours (three days) in order to re-enter with a new 90-day tourist visa. I've heard, though, that some people who go to Panama just stay two days and are allowed back into CR with no problems. Is that true? What is the recommended time of stay outside of country during these border runs? |

| As long as you stay outside the country for at least a couple of days you shouldn't get in trouble. |
