I haven't worked for Inlingua, but i Have worked for the guy who owns the franchise in the UAE. There are lots of laws in place in the UAE to protect teachers. this company will not adhere to any of them (you'll work 45 hour work weeks, and they will have you teaching as much as possible) since they will hire you as some other 'admin' position. If you were really desperate to work in the UAE, i suppose it's an option. Personally, if you're going to teach for a crap employer, at least let your work day end at 3:00 and enjoy normal weekends. this management will squeeze you for everything they can. |

People I know who have worked for ELS Al Ain have been reasonably happy with the experience. All were part-time though, on spouse's sponsorship - some minimally qualified or marking time while they finished an MA in order to get a tertiary job. Mixed classes which makes a change heaeabouts. No idea about terms for full-time staff or current management though. |
