I'm wondering if anyone is familiar with Future Heir Language School in Taichung City. Any recommendations or cautions regarding their legitimacy, curriculum, working conditions, etc.--especially by those with firsthand experience--would be appreciated.
I tried using the search feature here on Dave's, and on the Internet, but couldn't find much.
Thanks for any information you can provide. |

I worked there for a year and would recommend giving it a pass. No ARC and no health insurance despite repeated promises of both. The school has such a bad reputation the visa offices in Hong Kong and Macao will not issue entry visas to anyone who admits working there.
They opened a bank account in my name without my knowledge and began moving money out of Taiwan under my name. It seems they have a special relationship with the local COTA bank that allows them to open accounts using their employees ID with or without notifying the employees.
Taichung is the money laundering center for East Asia and I suspect, Future Heir Bilingual School is a front for gangsters to move their ill gotten assets overseas.

It did have it's good points.
Because of the illicit nature of the special relationship between the local Cota Bank and Future Heir School in Taichung, I was able to evade paying taxes while I worked there because the Cota Bank neglects to turn over account information for employees of Future Heir to the local tax office. |

Glen downtown: are you aware that your comments have been discussed on another forum - and apparently been refuted in every instance? |

I also saw a post about being abducted by aliens on that same board.
My name is Denton not Downtown and it is my real name unlike so many other nameless cowards too chicken sh#% to use their real names.
Daves ESL Cafe is, in my opinion, the most reliable source for information about schools and teaching ESL in East Asia. It is also the most fairly moderated.
If Alex and Jill and the rest of those gangster wannabe's want an open debate including: recording of meetings, in house memorandums, bogus contracts and a ton of illicit and illegal activity being undertaken by them, made public, send them over here and I will post it for the world to see.
Otherwise, tell them to crawl back under that slimy rock (Future Heir School in Taichung Taiwan) from whence they came. |

I noticed that anytime someone has a legitimate grip on this board one of the more ignorant Mods locks it up or deletes the thread.
I think a website devoted to exposing the illicit and illegal BS as Future Heir School in Taichung, might be a better idea. Any ideas on a free server? |

I too, would be very interested in seeing not just yours but many people's old contracts put online. For the greater good.
Good luck!
