What are you currently charging for private ESL lessons in either Budapest or any other city in Hungary? I'm planning to head there at the end of November, with CELTA in hand. I spoke to someone from IH Budapest and he said many teachers supplement their income with private lesson fees.
Thanks. |

6000 HUF for 90 minutes. A good policy is to make your students pay the next lesson's fee in advance, and then if they cancel the lesson within 24 hours you keep the money. Otherwise it's usually too late to schedule another student for the same time block. |

Lots of private students here seem to be preparing for an exam - either the FCE, CAE or one of the Euro exams, so knowledge of those would definitely help. |
