I'm here on a 90 visa. I arrived Sept. 4. What is the last day I can legally leave the country? Dec. 2, 3 or 4? Do you go 3 calendar months or 90 calendar days? ARe they flexible about it? If you overstay by one day what happens?
Will I have any problem if I try to leave and come back the next day on a plain old 30 entry visa? I'd like to do that 2 times, once in december and once in january. I only need to stay here until the middle of January. |

90 actual days and no more, 91 days will be a problem.
You can leave and return on the same day as long as you have a visa. Hong kong is the normal place for people to go for the quick and cheap return flight/visa.
Be careful of the holidays as the Hong Kong office is closed for both the western and Chinese holiday periods |

The day you arrived is day one and they will count the day you leave as your last day. There is a fine for each day you overstay your visa. |

So, Sept 4th = day 1, add 89 more days and that's your cut off point. As has been said, get to day 91 and you're in problem territory. |
