| In my last post, I stated that I was thinking of resigning due to some issues. Since then, I have managed to resolve most of the issues and have decided to stick it out at my school. The only thing is that I am the only foriegn teacher at mt school and suffer from loneliness. I was wondering who esle is in Xian and if they would like to get together sometime to meet up to help out another FT overcome his loneliness. I am teaching at Xian Middle School which is in the north part of the city. I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks. |

I'm hoping to get to Xian within the next couple of weeks (mainly to see a dentist  ) so I could try and catch up with you somewhere in the city (I stay near the Bell Tower).
BTW, I live in Baoji (2 hourish west).
In the meantime, good luck with the school, the most important thing is they pay you on time and right money, keep your head down (but chin up!) and lay low. That's what I found when I went through some probs with my first school in Gansu. Turned out okay in the end, they even asked me back (but I turned them down)!! |
