Hello

I teach for a school that supplies textbooks, but I am about to start teaching a freelance student and I would like to try some new textbooks.

My student has done an english course before but as yet we have only spoken in German so I dont know his level. Im guessing beginner, but even if he is higher I would like to start with basics, just to make sure they are there. Also, even though we speak German, he is not a native German speaker.

Ive looked for books in the stores here and I have found only "English/Essential Grammar in Use" by Murphy and a book pulished by Hueber..although I cant remember the title. The Murphy books are more reference/practice books and the Hueber ones are course-work books, although more for classes than for individuals. I would ideally like a book we could work through step by step so I think the Hueber might be a good choice, but I'd appreciate any suggestions?

Obviously I would also need to get the book delivered in Germany - and Ive also looked on amazon.de.
