Anyone been to Kusatsu Onsen?
It looks like a town of all onsens? I'm sure there are many places like this up in the mountains. Any impressions of Kusatsu or any similar onsens? |

Kusatsu is a great place for hotsprings
they are quite hot (famous for it)
there are a lot of small free onsens scattered around the town
I highly reccommend Kutsatsu |

Went there last February with some friends. It's a cute town - a few old style buildings with, yes, quite a few onsens and a shrine. There is also a ski hill with good skiing for beginners. Definately worth visiting. |
