spent 7 or so months there (almaty) last year ... if that counts as 'recent'. anything particular on your mind ?

Not for me honestly. A friend who used to work in Saudi has asked me whwt I know about teaching jobs in Kazakhstan. All I know is that Lev Trotzky was exiled there in 1926. |
