what is the SOP on payment here. in beijing it was all cash in hand, usually once a month. i know hess likes to do the auto deposit into an account (i've heard so they dont have to pay you on time). but what about other schools, do many places do cash, it a check like in the states? or is the auto-deposit more widespread? and also do many schools NOT pay on time? |

A school linked to your work permit will most likely pay into your bank account, also insisting that you used their specific bank. Jobs below the raidar will pay likewise, cash in hand. Most schools pay once a month on the 5th or 10th of the following month although some will pay fortnightly.
Other contract clauses may include delaying payment if you 'sick' in the post payment period. |
