My husband has an interview with SABIS in Al Ain. They are looking for administrators. I have read a lot about these particular schools, but is the one in Al Ain one of the better ones? Is the salary of an administrator good?

Is this the Military School or the K-12 Choueifat school? If you search these boards, you'll find LyndalOrient is currently working in Al Ain for the primary school. I personally don't know that any one Choueifat school in the UAE is better or worse, but lyndalorient expressed on this board that she felt well-prepared for the crap the school dishes out.

In a nutshell, if your husband is a native speaker w/ a teaching qualification, I would say that no, choueifat does not pay any of its staff well, and this position would not be worth the time or agro. If your husband is a non-native speaker w/o a proper teaching qualification and you were hard up to live in the UAE, then this would be an option. Generally speaking, Choueifat does not like to provide accommodation for a married couple unless both people are employed by the school. If you have kids, they'll require that they attend the school. Should you try to remove the kisd at a later date, your contract will not be renewed (barring some damning evidence that your child cannot be educated there-like some special need).
