|
|
Think the time is right for a documentary about living in Istanbul. I'd like to interview (talk to) people living and working in Istanbul. I am especially interested in couples of multiracial/multicultural background. An ideal couple would be a Brit and a Turk, and one of the partners is teaching English.
I've been teaching English myself in Istanbul for a while, but I also have a background in the cinema/television industry. I am not able to offer any remuneration, but a percentage of any revenue that the film earns, which is, however, unlikely.
Please contact me initially by sending private messages or letting me know that you maybe interested in one way or another, then I will contact you, provide my contact details, and more information about my project. |

....Why a Brit and a Turk who are both teachers?....Very good idea...I have always thought that we could make a dizi out of expats in Istanbul... |

On Reality TV a couple years ago there was a show about teachers in... Taiwan, I think. I only caught 1 episode.
If they made a dizi here it would probably be full of stereotypes and nationalist stuff, but if they could do such a thing properly it would be really interesting... i bet a lot of turks would watch it too.... |
