Hey guys,

Tried doing a search here but couldn't find what I was looking for.

Just wondering if anyone here knows of any English speaking Taiwanese or foreign doctors in Taipei, or if not, any websites I could visit, or any other information that might help me.

Also, how are medical costs for someone who isn't a part of the national health insurance (i.e. paying in cash)?

Thanks in advance!

Just about any doctor is able to speak at least rudimentary English. Most journals etc are in English and it is a requirement for their job.

Costs for a doctor visit without NHI isn't especially high. I think it's only something like double or triple the normal user fee.
