Hi All,
I'm interested in learning more about summercamp jobs in China. For example, what time of year do you apply for these? Is it better toa arrange ahead of time, or wait to get to China? I've heard mixed messages about whether or not you need a visa for summer jobs. Does anybody know? Finally, I'm a certified, experienced teacher at both elementary and secondary levels. I've taught ESL, Secondary English, and primary in an IB school, so I think I'm probably more than qualified. What is a reasonable ball-park figure for salary? Any info you could offer would be wonderful. Thanks in advance!

It would make more sense to go to Korea and work a summer camp in order to make a bit more money and then travel for a bit. But, when you think about it, the amount you pay for a flight is going to be a big issue - is it really worth it - probably not. I guess it depends on your motivations for wanting to teach a summer camp in the first place. If you intend to make money, you won't.
