I left Prague a few years ago--sob sob--but if you're looking for something to do on a Saturday night, I highly recommend Lucerna. It's an '80s night dance--although apparently it has been updated--now it's '80s and '90s. Even if you're not into '80s music, it's quite an experience. (Especially when they play "The final countdown")

"Spiegel" for 20 October 2003 has a long article on Prague and the dangers to tourists in that city. Watch out. Rip-off merchants are everywhere !
You should be especially careful if you are out on your own and consuming the fiercely potent Czech beer. |
