Dear All
HELP!
Has anyone ever applied at the EMIRATES? What's the standard procedure. A telephone interview prior to the invitation to fly to Dubai? Here's my situation - I've been invited to go to Dubai for the following - psychometric testing, give a 25-minute demo lesson and interview, yet never received a telephone interview. . Has anyone gone through this experience with them or worked for them? I checked out their web page (emirates aviation college), there are no vacancies for English teachers...perhaps its' just the venue for the demo lesson
I appreciate any advice given me. |

Over the years, I've sent them an email or two enquiring about vacancies and NEVER received a reply. I've got loads of Aviation English experience both military and commercial. And, I know that they are, but I don't consider them "for real". The least one can do is reply to enquiring emails...they couldn't reach that bar in my case.

THANKS for responding to my post I am sorry to hear that you haven't heard from them. But if you're still interested, go to their webpage. Applications are processed through that area. I am not sure where and to whom you e-mailed your enquiries, from experience, if you fill out their lengthy online application form, you'll definitely get a computer-generated acknowledgement at the very least. |

Hi, Jolie_V. You're welcome. I wrote to the address that they gave me over the phone. I do much better than what they could offer. I still feel like they looked a gift horse in the mouth, based on my specialization in the field for more than 20 years. I wish them luck, but don't want any part of them.
Good luck in your endeavours, though.
