happy new year, everyone! i'm about to switch over to hsbc as it's much more international. i have been told that i still need to open a local account in buenos aires. hbsc has a program where they will open a local account for me from the states for 200.00.
does this sound worth it to anyone? i've opened local accounts in ireland and the uk for work and i know it can be a huge pain in the culo. i'd also like to be getting paid asap when i start working. 200 bucks doesn't sound too bad to circumvent a lot of paperwork and hoops like proof of address, etc.
