anyone taken their program - in either toronto, montreal or vancouver? how was it?
and most importantly, what was your job situation like after completing the course? where did you find work? did you try getting jobs in canada or the US? |

I took LSC in Montreal, great course fab teachers and its pot luck with your classmates. Its really hard going but I found it to be worth it
ILSC are the CELTA course in Toronto
im not sure who does it in Vancouver.
I got a job no problem after it in Canada as I have a work visa here.
You will have to have this before applying as most schools are hesitant to sponsor you.
That being said most of the teachers in my school are from other countries but are all permanent residency.
USA you have to be a citizen there is a lot of red tape to get a visa there and basically there are enough people in the US with the qualifications. |

so it sounds like you teach in montreal?
i wonder why most of the teachers at your school are permanent residents? are permanent residents entitled to a lower maximum salary than canadian citizens or something? |
