My wife and I were married in the States in February 1997 and we got our marriage license apostilled soon after that. This was in Kentucky where we got married.
That shouldn't be a problem, should it? Since it was apostilled ten years ago? We're in Texas now and I may go to Kentucky for a week before I head to Mexico City but I'm hoping that the fact that its been ten years will still be OK.
We were married by the CHURCH in Mexico in December 97, so I'm sure we'll need to do some paper work so the govt of Mexico will recognize our marriage also and I'm hoping that the marriage license being apostilled ten years ago won't be a problem.
I heard the degrees from the university should not be over three months from the time you arrive in Mexico. |

Visit your local Mexican Consulate, and they should be able to update the apostille if need be. Take with you all supporting documents including your passport. They can also tell you what you will need to do to register the marriage in Mexico. It's not complicated. (You should register it soon after you arrive in Mexico). |

Do you mean apostilles for degrees? I hope there isn't a three-month limit because I had mine apostilled three years ago, when I first thought I'd be moving here and getting an FM-3. |
