Compared to Korea, Taiwan is a friendly liberal paradise. Anti-western, anti-foreigner sentiment is neither popular nor wide spread here. Also, relationships with foreigners are not frowned upon. In fact, there is some status to be gained from having a westerner partner.
Yes, it will be possible to get a Taiwanese gf. |

i did many years in taiwan. now in korea.
the vibe is alot different in taiwan, just nicer all the way around. i was greatly disheartened to realize the kindness of the chinese and taiwanese didn't spread to the peninsula. |

I did over two years in Taiwan, now almost finished my third year in Korea.
Hands down, Taiwan is way better. And to answer your question; yes, they are friendlier and kinder than Koreans, if we are to generalize.
Korea, however, is great for realizing how much better other Asian countries are, than, say, Seoul, Busan, Daegu, and Incheon. |
