I can't find any info on this school but Xian definitely sounds appealing.
Has anyone got any info on the school or taught there previous?
I'm pretty much sold on Xian.
Thanks for the info. |

Natty, I can honestly say, in my three years of having lived in Xian, I've never heard of em. Depending on how you look at it, could be a good thing. No negative commentary! Wish I could be of more help.

I'm not 100% sure.
The lack of info could be a good thing (if your glass is half full)
There's nothing on the net about them and google searches come up zero.
I've accepted the job so we'll see what happens.
Thanks for the replies tho. Here's looking to a Feb start in Xian. Yay
Cheers |

Shawn,
Where in Xian are you located? I've been looking for other FT's to hang out with. Give me a pm and maybe we can meet up somewhere.

Sweet Shawn.
Will do. It'd be good to hook up with some expats and get a scope of the Xian scene. |

Do you mean Jidebao as in Kid Castle? I work for them in Tianjin, and they have done well by me, if not some of the other teachers here. They teach only kids. However, in my experience, the quality of the school in China depends very little on the brand name and almost entirely on the Chinese manager. |

Natty, If Tsarevich is right, and it indeed refers to "Kid Castles", If I were you I'd do a search here. There are a number ( half dozen maybe) of Kid Castles in Xi'an. I personally haven't heard anything recent, but it seems in the past that there were a number of negative posts written about some of the franchises here. I'd do some research. I don't want to mistakenly bad mouth any school. In any case, as I said I'll look forward to meeting you.
Keith, I'm not much of a party animal, but on occasion I do get out. I'm located 2 stops outside the west gate. Easy to find. I'll PM you with my mobile number and we'll work on setting something up.

Oooooo. That might make sense cause my initial contract offer said kindergarten and primary school kids.
thanks for that.
I'll google furiously. Fingers crossed. |
