You won't save[or even make much] in Beijing.
You might in Shanghai.
Hong Kong , if you're set on China, is the place for you. Try the Hong Kong board, but please do some basic research or you'll get shat on, even by those polite denizens. Getting in at ground level at a HK high school is one option. Have you considered Singapore?

If saving money is real priority then you should use that Master's degree and get a real job back home. Vancouver is popular for ESL teaching as there is a large Chinese and Asian population.
