Hello everyone! I was wondering if there is anyone on here that knows anything about Bahia Blanca or has ever taught there? I know it's too far away from BA to commute and most of the information on this forum is about BA.

What is the job situation like? How much is rent and can it be lowered if I have an Argentine negotiate for me? How many hours do you work, on average, each week? Are these jobs at language schools, privates, public schools or private schools? What are the minimum requirements for public school or private school teaching? I will be there in July and I will have at least a month to look for work (and decide if I'm going to stay in Argentina). How long did it take you to find work there? Is there anyway to get a job before going (I've noticed a lot of posts about this being difficult)?

Sorry there are so many questions. I just have a lot of stuff I need to figure out before coming, and I want to be well prepared before I go. Thank you for any help.

EDIT: I'll be in Bahia Blanca in May instead of July, I don't know if this makes any difference for finding jobs. Thanks for any help.
