My experience with Via Lingua Corinth is in contrast to a recent posting. In my opinion the course is excellent. The course content and the practical training are ideal preparation for teaching EFL anywhere. The fact that it is in Greece gives an extra insight into teaching in Greece. I did my training there in March 2006 and I am now in my second second year teaching in Athens. The training is intensive and the course is demanding but it is worth the effort. I found Peter and Aggeliki very supportive and the teacher trainers, materials and classes were well organised and covered all aspects of teaching EFL. I suppose some people can have a negative experience in any undertaking but I'm sure the vast majority of people who did this course are, like me, very positive about it.

I would like to recommend the Via Lingua TEFL Certificate in Corinth to anyone wishing to Teach English to speakers of other languages. The course is very intensive and you need to be prepared to work hard, but it is very well put together and the teaching experience is invaluable. The tutors were excellent - very supportive, experienced and knowledgeable; and Peter's wife, Angelikki, does her best to make you feel at home. I did the course in April/May 2007 and it did wonders for my confidence in moving my life forward and giving me additional courage to leave the UK! I now live in Naxos.
