If you are or have been, please add your outlook to the stickies. There are some about Trujillo, Piura and Cusco. If you in Lima, I'd encourage you to start a thread.

Lima has positive points, yes... however, let's face it, it's huge, polluted, fast paced, smelly, and unsafe. En las provincias, es mas tranquilo. That's the Peru that fills visitor with that good feeling. Lima is a city, but you see the real Peru outside that capital city type of culture. But in chinatown, I must admit that chifa sure is darn good. Although I would choose a lifetime in Lima over not knowing Peru at all. |
