Does a subject to contract Visa require a legalized or photocopy of my degree? On the departamento de extranjerias website a degree is not mentioned at all for this type of contract.
I appreciate any advice. |

It's not such a simple question. It probably requires a legalized copy of your degree. Take the original, a copy, and your passport to a notary. It should cost around 500 pesos. The reason it's not a simple question is that some regulations suggest that you need to have your degree authenticated by the embassy of the country where it was issued and then by the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I wouldn't suggest going through this unless Extranjeria rejects the legalized copy -- not very likely but there's always the possibility. The worst that can happen is that you'll be asked to resubmit your application, and you can deal with it then. Good luck. |
