Incredible! Imagine how a New Yorker would feel if he took the advice, spent three thousand dollars and found himself enjoying his vacation in KUWAIT of all places. The journalist should be imprisoned. |

Yes, prison is more appropriate than a lawsuit! We were all laughing about this at work and wondering if this guy actually went to Kuwait City before compiling his list or if someone in some governmental office in Kuwait sent him a press packet. This has to qualify for the top prize in lack of journalistic integrity! |

I glanced through the comments section and there are 6 or 7 comments that mirror our reactions exactly. I almost posted one myself and then decided it would just be a waste of time to repeat the same thing.

Some of the other places they've chosen are hardly any better. Liverpool, San Diego, Malaga (a major cultural center!) and the biggest dump of all, Alexandria (nobody told the NYT Nasser kicked out all the Greeks and the place is a dirty seedy dump dedicated to ripping off Gulf-residing Egyptians). |
