Has anyone heard of this school in Nagoya?

Thanks!

Maybe. Is this the one that wants you to come to Japan in a week or two, and says they'll figure out a visa situation for you after you arrive? (If so, avoid them.)

I applied for an ALT job with them a couple of years ago, and they were straight up about saying that they had to wait until a certain time before they would know if they had won the contract for the jobs or not. However, they emailed me a while later and said they'd GOT the contracts, only to then email me a week or two after and say that they hadn't got them after all, and would I like to be kept on file?

While this didn't really bother me too much as I was already here in Japan and had been offered a different position in the meantime, but it would have been a serious pain if I'd been back home and had payed for a flight in the meantime.

Everything they said up to then had seemed totally professional, but I kind of lost faith in them after that. Still, that's not to say that they aren't a bad company, because I don't know the whole story behind what happened. It might have been something beyond their control, but like I say, as I'd been offered another job, I didn't kick up a fuss about it.

Had exactly the same experience as cornish. A couple yrs. ago I was in China and ABC told me I had a job in April only to later tell me I DIDN'T have the job! Pretty unprofessional. I hadn't booked a flight or anything so it didn't cost me any dough but I was pretty bummed out.
