i read in the information given from my company that there are few cash points in tokyo that give out money for foreign credit cards. is this true?
also i assume that tokyo is pretty sorted for wifi but is most of it free or does it come with a charge, also is it easy to get on the wifi if you dont understand japanese? |

ATMs that accept overseas cards are becoming more common now, 7-11 ATMs now take overseas cards and Shinsei bank ATMs are quite widespread.
Wifi is not as common as you might think but I'll let someone else answer on that one in more detail. |

Over 2000 free hotspots in Tokyo alone.http://usatoday.jiwire.com/browse-hotspot-japan-jp.htm
I know people that don't even have an internet connection because they live near a free hotspot. Japanese is not an issue as far as I am aware. |

Post offices take foreign cards. There's a button to get the display in English.
I'm not sure about post offices, but be aware that most places won't issue money after 10pm, sometimes 8pm. Its a real pain in the ass. |
