Can anybody provide some feedback on the quality of this teaching course? While it indicates that it's CELTA, it implies that students don't do any actual teaching practice, which seems unusual.
In general, I'm interested in doing CELTA, and I'd like very much to do it in Hanoi some time in spring/summer 2008. |

If there's no teaching practice included then it's not a real CELTA and not worth doing. Never heard of Cactus before BTW and have been here nearly two years
Language Link run real CELTA courses, so might be worth checking them out - though did here they had major admin problems with one of their recent courses |

Cactus are not a course provider they are an internet based agent for course providers and have no input into any course, merely the messenger.
If there is no prac teaching then it definitely is not a Celta.
Stay with the Celta, at least it is recongnised around the world and moderated by an independent assessor each course. You can be confident of that each course is going to be of a consistent standard.
I have heard nothing of any any drop in quality of the Celta at Language Link. There are two Celta providers in Vietnam, one is in Hanoi - Language Link, and the other in HCMC - ILA Vietnam. ILA offers courses year round, about 8 this year last time i looked. Language Link offer 3 - 4 per year. |
