Hi,
The professionalism of this school has been commented upon in a few threads before, but I will run over everything again what you can expect from working at Brytania.
I worked at the Debica site for a year, my first TEFL job. My first impression was very good when I went for an interview in August, and this lasted for the whole time I was there. Upon arrival the "native speaker coordinator" will pick you up, take you shopping and take you to your flat. The accommodation, from what I saw of the other native speakers too, is very comfortable.
You will slip into your teaching routine easily. Everyone knows what they are doing, and I don't recall any administrative bloopers, like being given the wrong books, or a timetable littered with mistakes etc. The secretaries are very reliable and helpful.
If things run smoothly, it is a pretty good indicator that your DOS has got her brain in gear. And she has. I found her to be always at hand to assist with anything, from grammatical conundrums to more personal things. Don't want to hype her up too much, but she's really good.
My first year in TEFL wasn't without problems. The boss and DOS drafted me into the office more than a few times to quiz me about complaints from parents etc. Probably, the boss was within her rights to have sacked me. But, in retrospect, she was reasonable, she noticed my efforts, and I left Poland with a half-decent reference.
Sadly, my experience with my next school in Krakow was less than fruitful. It was horrific. But that's the way it goes.
