|
|
Hi!
I am looking at jobs in Japan at the moment but have just received a random offer from Hong Kong in response to my resume post that has me thinking. They offer HK$12,000monthly plus the usual flight and accommodation. Is this good/bad/average? I would like to pay back a loan too? Have I got a good deal here or should I continue with my Japan search?
Thanks!

There's a noun beginning with the letter "s", which can sometimes be used as an adjective. Sadly the software on Dave's does not allow me to write it here to describe the money you are being offered. Still, if you want to live like a student, then go ahead. Make sure accommodation is thrown in, otherwise you will be sharing with a drunken, grotty college jock in a 200 sq ft room in the sticks.
Go for Japan. |

You're right about using that adjective, HH.
12000 a month is terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible.
Ok I lie........ it might be ok for Cambodia or Laos but NOT for Hong Kong.
How you'd save/pay back a loan on that amount is beyond me.
And remember, Hong Kong can be a dismal place when you can't afford "diversions".
Run the proverbial mile and look for something that will allow you to live a reasonable lifestyle. |
