. . . I submitted a new topic post. It still has not appeared.

Could someone advise me if my post could still be under review by the moderators or, is it more likely lost/vanished into parallel space somewhere?

That is really something that you should just pm one of the moderators about. Not really a discussion topic about ESL or Vietnam.

I check the forum fairly regularly and have never seen your post in question.

Hehe, I - tried - to ask a moderator re the status of my first and only post thus far (on topic). But I rec'd mssg saying I 'had to have at least one (1) post' before I could PM a moderator. Not much sense in trying to approach the other moderators - no?

Anyway, I have reposted my first post, it appeared and, all is well.

I just saw it and posted a response. Quirky that you cannot pm a mod unless there is a post first. What if there were some real trouble with the account before/restricting that first post. Hmmm... that would be another question for the mods.
