Is there much air pollution around the Chinese University of Hong Kong in Shatin? I've heard that although the campus is away from the most urban areas of HK, a lot of air pollution floats down from Shenzhen and other parts of the mainland. Thanks for any insights or direct experience.

although shatin is away from central hong kong, it is still a developing city so yes, the pollution is still pretty bad. There are still lots of tall buildings, construction, and cars. And it's true about the pollution from the mainland also
