Hello, has anyone worked at either the Bali International School, or the Australian International School in Bali? I would like to know any positives or negatives about these schools, the work environment, students or salary packages.
Thanks. |

Hi,
I haven't worked at either, but know teachers at each. BIS is the more established and better paid of the two. It is also runs the IB programme, in primary at least. I'm unsure about secondary, sorry.
The salary at BIS, although the highest for teachers on Bali, is still slightly less than that paid by mid tier international schools in Jakarta. Reason being, none other than supply and demand I'd imagine.
Good luck |

Or this could simply be more fertilizer, mental wanderings and conjecture from Duckman: a guy who cannot Google and gets his information, primarily, from the local markets.
