Hi All,
Not sure if this topic has been discussed lately, but I was wondering what your thoughts are on CV's : What makes a great CV? I have been trying to write the perfect CV for weeks now...sigh...but am unsure about what to include ( and what NOT to include ).
Any ideas/advice would be greatly appreciated!
Kind thanks |

1. Keep it simple - easy to read
-use Times Roman font or similar professional text / 12 pt size
2. Proof read for any spelling mistakes!
3. Only include releveant information specific for the job applying for -current info first - going back in time
4. List all education- dates , degree/etc and location of study
5. It is not necessary to include every job you ever had since high school
- the last 3-4 years is plenty
-do include all duties/ information pertaining to the jobs you had previously
- include contact information of previous jobs
- start and finish dates
6. State relevant skills that are relevant to the job applied
7. Keep other info such as hobbies and extra curricular activites brief
7 Don't have too many pages; try to keep it to min 2-3 pages if you can,
you can always add other info in the interview if you get one.
Show it to other people to get their response.
anyways good luck
