What is obvious? I'm just curious as to how this place is viewed in the Spanish teaching scene. |

After your earlier negative posts about the school, I don't expect that you're seriously interested in any positive points that might be posted by others.
It's too bad that you had a bad experience with the course and the school. But there's no need to beat a dead horse. |

Negative or truthfull. Who am I or you to decide? Just hoping that a few ex-students from the course may jump in and discuss it. I am an ex student of the course, are you? |

Truthful can be negative, of course. Biases can also be either positive or negative.
Your recent posts apparently didn't produce any interaction with other ex-students of this course. Why do you suppose they would suddenly jump in now?
I suggest that, if you really want to discuss the course with other ex-students, CLIC Sevilla most likely has a list of email addresses provided by students who are willing to discuss the course with others. As an ex-student, wouldn't you have contacts with others who were on the course with you, at least? |

...don't think it's fair to the school. in fact, i would recommend to the moderators to pull your previous post about CLIC.
some people have Ford Escort's that go to 250,000 miles, others have ones that die at 70,000. your's died at 70,000. give it up, try another brand....but don't bash the brand just because you had a lemon...
btw, i put 320,000 miles on a Ford Mustang LX 5.0 1988
and p.s. to any CLIC directors,....i would write Dave a.s.a.p to get this "bad publicity" off the Google server. |

I have spoken to other students and they share my opinions. |

So why are you seeking other students on this thread? |

This is the place for a discussion. Right? |

This is the right place for discussion, the wrong place for someone who clearly bears a grudge of some sort to slag a school -- any school -- off.
Your doing so discredits Dave's ESL Cafe as a source of information, and discredits all other posters.
Can you believe anything on Dave's, on any of the discussion forums, if they are so obviously being used to be vindictive?
Dave's is not an entirely reliable source of information precisely because of posts like these. |

I did the CELTA at CLIC and it was great - very professionally run, with supportive and knowledgeable tutors and really nice students. I have no idea why Emmett keeps slagging the centre off - I now work in Seville and know a lot of other ex-trainees, and haven't heard anybody else complaining. A friend of mine did the DELTA there too and did well. I'd recommend CLIC to any future trainees - it's hard work, but very useful input. I had a bit of experience before I went there but learnt loads. I think it's unfair that this site is being used for some kind of personal attack too. |
