As I mentioned in an earlier thread, I'm considering a transition to Latin America. Money isn't everything--- if it was, I wouldn't even think of leaving my current lucrative country--- but money's still something. Can the Argentinian scene allow one to save up money? Is it easy to find private lessons and get away with teaching them at minimal risk? Once one establishes themselves properly as a teacher in Argentina and gets a healthy amount of paying work, how much money, if any, is it possible to set aside each month? And what's the cost of living like there?
