I do not want to live in the bigger cities but I am looking for the next best thing. I want to live on the beach and am looking for a good expat community with a laid back atmosphere. I am thinking about Da Nang, Vung Tau, and Nha Trang. I am just wondering what the differences are between the three.

Which city do you think is safest? Most laid-back? Beautiful? Fun? up-and-coming? Most things to do on the weekends, etc.?

Thanks.

Can Tho has scom schools and it's right in the delta. Vung Tau is a beach resort sort of sleepy, small town, Da Lat has some work up in the mountains. Da Nang has several schools that are always looking for people and Hai Phong has some schools.
