				| I've applied for jobs at UAE universities for August, 2008. Could you tell me when they would normally begin contacting candidates for interviews? | |

				| Any time between now and the end of May... not exactly a predictable situation unfortunately. Applying for Middle East jobs requires a lot of patience.

				| can you provide a link to any type of citation to backup your claims?
You have now dropped this same line in 4 different threads w/out any support for your arguments.

If you have the support, I'D LOVE TO READ THEM.

Patience and persistence? I have also sent a couple of applications to UAE, but I have not sent scanned diplomas, transcripts, etc. -- So ... I could send them AND re-send the whole batch with another note of inquiry. My question is, would that be considered 'pushy' and annoying, or should I just keep 'knocking on the door'? (cultural cues?)

(And, yes, I have read the posts about the brouhaha concerning HCT, student denials, resignations, etc.)
