Let's say you overstay your visa by 3-4 months, and your company assists you in getting an exit visa to leave the country... Now you're back in England. If you want to get a job with another company, is there a waiting period before Saudi Arabia will allow you to come back? |

No disrespect, but I would have thought, judging from your earlier postings, that your last experience in Saudi was enough for you. What's that line from the Rudyard Kipling poem....
'...as the burned fool's bandaged finger goes wobbling back to the fire...?' |

Juliet,
Consider ''losing'' your passport, especially if you do not have a release letter, which you most probably don't have. Without it - an if your previuous visa was employment visa - you won't be let into Arabia. If it wasn't employment visa things may look different, depending on how much is your current employer determined to have you there. You have to sort it out what kind of visa you actually had stamped in your passport and what are the re-entry restrictions that such visa bears in case you enter Arabia again.
Passport ''losing'' washes away your Saudi stories - and surely you are digesting lessons you had received while there to your advantage in the future.
If in your countray there are fines on those who lose passports, you may simply apply for a new one, trying to argue that your case is urgent.
If you employer-to-be really craves for you, he should advise you on the track to take.
Best + keep hunting,

Sounds pretty wobbly.
You can't use two passports, the new one for the Saudi consulate in your country and at the same time your employer-to-be can't get you a visa/invitation letter based on the page of the old passport you are not going to use while crossing the Saudi border. Your visa block is ascribed to your passport number and to nothing else. So you must wait until you get a new passport and only then your recruiter may start processing your visa block in Arabia.
