Is this worth having? is it as good as a TESOL or TEFL certificate, I have never heard of it but teflinternational are doing a Beijing course which offers this at the end of it. Will I be able to get an ok job with it? (I dont have a degree) a job as good as one I could get with a TESOL?

Thanks for your time.

I take it no-one has heard of it then?

This is what the site says about it:

Quote:
On the first day of the project you will begin your one week special PELT TESOL training from TEFL International towards your TEFL Jobs, the worlds largest (and many say best) TESOL certificate course provider. This training will eventually result in a PELT Certificate.

Food is on your own (you have to eat anywhere, right?) but you should spend about $50 per week.

After your training you will spend 12 weeks exploring Beijing and teaching 15 hours per week. Immersion Putonghua classes will be held 3 times per week, each class lasting 2 hours for the duration of the project.

I dont want to sign up for something, pay a large amount of money and then find out it isnt worth the paper it is printed on.

Thanks for any advice you can give me.
